Merry Mothership (insert holiday here) Party!!!

I had such a fantastic time at tonight's Blogger (insert holiday here) party! To have the opportunity to meet so many lovely people was such a blast. My daughter loved hanging out, too. I would say highlights of the evening included flirting with two (of the many) good lookin' guys in the joint: JJ Dubin and Mr. Mack from Coyote Chronicles. Who knew I would be doing tequila shots with Dr. Funkenswine and company (which incidentally, I showed some of you men up! I was the only one who took the entire shot the first swig!).

I felt like I was meeting long lost friends. This may sound all mushy, but it feels like we are all a part of a great group--a community, if you will--and we have a bond. I'm proud to be a part of this, and thanks for welcoming me into the fold.

Some pics for your enjoyment:

I enjoyed meeting you, and yes, you know hopw to turn up a glass! It was a fun outing, I like to have faces to put with people I read, perhaps the (hate this word) blogoshpere will eventually get less mean-spirited as we figure out that all of us have more in common than our political viewpoints. Damn good BBQ, I should add...

Ooh, the second-to-last pic has me all swoony. Three funny and charming guys.

It was great to meet you! I'm sorry I missed the tequila shots. Maybe next time you and I can both show the boys how it's done -- although it sounds like you're already schoolin' 'em.

Really nice pics. Like I said at my place, Zaphod said as we left, "Let's do that again sometime!" It was so sweet to see the girls hug as y'all left.

I'm so glad I got to hang out with you and everybody else last night!

It was nice to meet you and your daughter last night! Wish I could have stayed and mingled more but events like this make me more of an introvert than I realize I can be!

Finally - I can comment (from a different computer). What great pics you have! JJ and I enjoyed meeting both of you. I about fell to the floor when Amanda was squeezing his cheeks!
